My name is Josh Willoughby. I’ve always enjoyed science, especially hands-on science. This has led me to become a science teacher. My original degree was in Civil Engineering, but after earning my Bachelors degree, I chose to stay in college to get my teaching certificate. I’ve been teaching science for the past 10 years and plan to keep teaching for many years to come!
I’ve found over the years that students that are up and out of their seat and working on a project will not only be more engaged, but learn more! I’ve taken my years of experience in seeing what works well and what doesn’t work to develop activity challenges that work with students. Not only do each of these activities involve science, many incorporate the problem solving aspects of engineering. Learning how to collaborate with other students and solve these problems will go a long way in helping to prepare students for the future.
My wife (a graphic designer) has really helped design the packages that I sell and the look of this site. My children (4 of them) have had the benefit of seeing me work on these packages and get to run these challenges often:)
I’m always looking for feedback (both positive and constructive) on how to improve these products! I’ve uploaded a few free activity challenges for teachers and parents to see the quality of my work. To check out my free activity challenges, choose the grade level below:
Thank you for taking the time to check out this site, and if you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me!
